ANNOUNCEMENT - from Russ Lindblom, NDACo 911 Wireless Project Manager -
The ND 9-1-1 Association and NDACo is pleased to announce that as of June 9th, 2005, 52 counties, 3 cities and 22 PSAP's in ND are Phase I and Phase II compliant. ND is the 6th State in the nation to achieve this status.
The success of this project would not have been possible had I not had the full support of the 9-1-1 coordinators, PSAP managers, County Commissioners, 9-1-1 boards, Local Telephone Companies, Qwest, Intrado, and the Wireless Carriers. This is truly a project that was accomplished through the cooperative efforts of all involved. Work continues as new cell sites being built are added to the existing count of 500 plus sites in the state.
