MEETING MINUTES
In attendence: Leo Banderet, Jerry Bergquist, Steve Conmy, Frank Gross, Kenneth Hansen, Al Hanson, Millie Hauck, Jewel Jones, Mark Kerr, Dennis Koback, Jim Lueder, Sherwood Monroe, Keith Seaver, Dennis Smetana, Jerry Tollefson, Norman Vangsness, Don Wentz, and Chuck Wilz
For the purposes of conducting the organizational meeting and establishing this association the following motions were made:
Temporary Officers:
Motion was made by Chuck Wilz and seconded by Jim Lueder to elect Jerry Bergquist and Steve Conmy to the temporary positions of President and Secretary/Treasurer, respectively. Motion passed unanimously.
Voting:
Motion was made by Chuck Wilz and seconded by Sherwood Monroe to allow everyone present at this organizational meeting to have voting privileges. Motion passed unanimously.
Bylaws:
Motion to adopt Association Bylaws as amended was made by Jewel Jones, seconded by Millie Hauck, and passed unanimously.

Discussions were held on the following:
- Training opportunities for dispatchers through UND Lake Region
- Standards for 9-1-1 dispatcher training
- New legislation
- Database disclosure rules
- Reverse ALI
- Cellular 9-1-1 calls
- Emergency Medical Dispatch (EMD) & manditory EMD
- Selective routing situation in Williston & possible solutions
- Changes to State Standards & Guidelines (any input should be made to Jewel Jones)
MOTIONS:
- The ND 9-1-1 Association should make a request to the Governor's 9-1-1 Committee to change Standards & Guidelines Item #8 regarding cellular 9-1-1 calls from a "recommendation" to a "standard".
